One of the most exciting results of painting and posting about My Turquoise Front Door is the response I've received from readers who have been inspired to paint their own doors!
This is one of those examples!
This door is literally a Beyond the Screen Door inspired screen door!
Roycie sent me this pic of newly painted turquoise door. I had to brag on her and show it to all of you! Previously white, she loves how the new color and glazing brings out the details in her door! She painted it the same Nifty Turquoise as my door but glazed her door using Martha Stewart's black metallic glaze from Home Depot!
Great Job, Roycie! It's absolutely beautiful!
That is gorgeous! What a great detailed screen door!
ReplyDeleteLove that purdy door, Miss Sonya! :)

It looks fantastic I love colour you chose. I hope I'm brave enough to paint my front door when our garage extension reno is finished, I admire all the coloured doors I've seen pictures of but I'm so scared to do it to my own! Any tips for picking up that paint brush and just doing it? :)
ReplyDeleteSo FUN to pass on some inspiration in Blogland!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Sonya, you were my inspiration for painting my front door turquoise. I get so many compliments. Mine isn't glazed because I'm afraid I might mess it up. Wondering if I should do some turquoise shutters in the front to go along with the door?
ReplyDeleteYou've take screen doors to a whole new level. Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh this makes me happy just to look at it! Like a little doll house! I love the bold color- great choice!

ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty door of its own accord, but it's new turquoise dress puts it over the top. Well done, Roycie!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I've always, always loved screen doors. She did a wonderful job on the glazing.
