A Gorgeous Home Office

Take a look at this gorgeous office! Now tell me, who couldn't work in this space?  This is another amazing room in my friend Susan's home.  Just look at that chandelier! I LOVE IT!

Susan has a gift for accessorizing! I've laughed that she has more accessories in her living room than I have in my whole house!
Susan choose a large scale, black and white houndstooth fabric for the window treatment in this office. The simple panels are hung from wooden rods and rings and made from an upholstery weight fabric. They are hemmed to gently puddle on the floor. Without a doubt, the heaviest window treatments I've every made! But the perfect choice for this space!

This adorable painted chest actually sits just outside the office. I love the stripes, the texture and the color of this piece.  It almost looks like painted leather! Actually, I think this look might be fairly easy to duplicate!

As you look back to your right when you enter the office, you see this fun little corner. Then as you look up...

Well, Hello!

I love that this is the LAST thing you expect to see in this amazing space! When most of us think of rooms displaying hunting trophies, the image that comes to mind is MUCH different from this stunning office!
Susan has shown us that you can still have a beautiful space even when designing around an unusual "must keep" item! In fact, it just might make you want to use that unusual item!

Are any of you decorating around a "must keep"..."not in my decorating style"..."where am I going to put that?" item?

Have a Blessed Day!
