Have you ever visited someone's home where you see something inspiring everywhere you turn? That's how I feel when I visit Tim and Elizabeth's home. I usually go home ready to paint, rearrange or create!
Today I'm featuring their family room. (You can see their dining room featured in my last post.) You'll find the color red used liberally through their home, as evident in this oh-so-fun, red and leopard print sofa!
Elizabeth has been known to rearrange the furniture in this room fairly often. She loves color & pattern and uses it beautifully.
A trio of Christmas trees in black, white and gold is one the focal points of this room.
To the left of the trees sit two red leather club chairs. Each chair complete with over sized pillow and a black & white throw.
Here you can see the largest of their numerous Nativities displayed on the sofa table. The smallest Nativity is made from tiny pieces of painted rice! It's teeny-tiny!
Has your December been a hectic month? Mine has! And yet, I am so thankful and grateful for the church activities and job opportunities that have filled the past few weeks. But, I am ready to slow down! Slow down and dwell more on what this season means to us all.
I pray as this week continues, we all experience a slower pace and that each of us be filled with the wonder this season brings as we celebrate the birth of Our Lord and Saviour!
Merry Christmas!

Hi Sonya! Wow! What a fun home! I absolutely love the idea of the giant present in the fireplace...but how will Santa get down? :-) And those club chairs with the gorgeous pillows are perfect. Did you make the pillows? Everything looks so festive and the colors are great. Thanks for the great inspiration!

ReplyDeleteHow fun - she even made a bunny look Christmasy! I totally have to go repent, now, from coveting the black tree. I wonder how spray painting a green one would work? I also love her large creche. Hugs, Kim
