Pillow Talk

When it comes to pillows my philosophy is you honestly can't have too many. Though I'm pretty sure my family would argue this point.
From simple and functional to purely decorative and just made to sit there and look pretty.  You just gotta love 'em.
The pillow I'm showing you today is of the purely decorative variety. I'm so pleased with the way this turned out!
This style is so fun. This neckroll pillow is sometimes referred to as a tootsie roll pillow. This shape of pillow can range from 12 x 6 up to bolster size.
This particular pillow is 24" x 8" with a 26" circumference. It's made from four different fabrics in shades of chocolate brown, green, cream and a pale gray/green/blue. A beautiful combination.  
Even though this pillow was made for a client, I think it looks pretty good right here on my bench!

    Gorgeous choice of fabrics and trims!!!!! I am so "put together" fabric challenged! The extra touch pillows give...is pure elegance. Cannot wait to see how it was put together :)

    And that is a philosphy I embrace to the fullest, Sonya! I LOVE this pillow! I'll look forward to your tutorial because I do have two bolster pillows that could use recovering and I'm not sure how or what I want to do.

    LOVE it~ this Tootsie Roll pillow (cute name) is beautiful!
    I love a little leopard print and this fabric combination is perfect.
    Your designs are always so wonderful.
    I am one of those people that fall into the category of thinking you can't have too many pillows! Hubbby on the other hand thinks differently than I do! lol

    I love the pillows Sonya, but what I love the most about your work is the fabric. You always do such a great job coordinating the colors and patterns. I could never make things go together and look as stunning as what you put together. I wish I could bring you here to do my whole house!!
