Adorable BoHo Shabby Chic Bedroom

How's that for a title?
But just take a look at this adorable bedroom!!
Remember my friend Kim's house from the
Talk About Curb Appeal post?
Well this is her oldest daughter's bedroom!
I think this is SOOO CUTE!!

Kim is an avid thrift store shopper. She will be the first to tell you
she is obsessed with going to "the thrift".
She has such an eye and always comes home with the greatest finds!
Things (I am ashamed to say) I might have walked right by!

I love the way she combines all her treasures.
She takes her thrift store finds and uses them As Is...

...or Paints them...

...Mixing...

...Arranging...

...but NOT matching...
to create a Wonderfully Fun environment for a teen!

Oh, I'm sure her daughter had a say in this as well!
But as she told me when I was asking
about all the fun things in her room, "Oh, yeah,
my Mom found that at 'the thrift'.  She's the greatest!"
Well, I think Mother and Daughter alike have done a fabulous job
putting this adorable bedroom together.
Now she's off to college!  Can't wait to see pictures of the dorm room!!!

My thanks to Kim as always for her inspiration!

Have a Gloriously Blessed Day!

  5. I'm so glad you linked this. My college daughter loves boho. Does your friend use clothing fabric to make the pillows?

  6. Actually I think she bought all those pillows from the thrift "as is"! I know she has taken a pillow like the one in the chair and painted over the existing word and with a new word! So Clever!
