Pillow Week! Episode #3

Today is all about collecting a variety
of pillows that may or may not
have any rhyme or reason to be together!

Yesterday, we saw some beautiful pillows
that were all connected by the same fabrics.

Today we're a little more random!

There is just something fun about
a jumble of pillows that are not
"matchy-matchy".

Whether in the family room...

... or the bedroom!

The variety here is great.
Love the pillow jewelery!!!

What about painted pillows?
This one is being used outside on the patio!

This one is back inside!

This last one was originally a piece of stitch work
made into a pillow with a 2.5" flange.

The saying is quite unusual...

"They happy are
Who date their birth
In cold December
The month of mirth.
If they will wear
A Turquoise blue
Success will follow
And Fortune Too."

That's what makes pillows so fun!

It's an opportunity to introduce the
unusual or unexpected, in just a small way,
 into our homes!

Please, join me tomorrow for
Episode #4 of Pillows Week!

and

 Window Treatment Week
starting Monday!

May you have an
Unexpectedly Blessed Day!

  3. These posts about pillows are just making me so happy because I want this type of look in my home. I have gotten too matchy and boring and want a more interesting look. I adore cute fabrics and mixing them so you are giving me tons of awesome inspiration. Thanks!!!

  4. Okay, I'm still with you here, Sonya! These pillows are great, too. I think one of the things I notice in custom pillows over store bought is that they just present better. Maybe it's the fabrics, maybe the filling, but I always find I prefer a custom pillow. Realistically {and financially} though, I use store bought.
