Window Treatment Week! Episode #1

This week is all about Window Treatments!

Whether you call them curtains, drapes,
window coverings or window treatments
this week...they are the feature!

Besides paint, window treatments are my favorite
transformation in a room.
Take a room with nothing on the windows,
add fabric and WOW! Instant warmth!

Today, I'm highlighting a window treatment
that would have to be one of my favorites out of all
the window treatments I've had the privilege to make!
I love just about everything about this project!

The color, pattern, texture, whimsy, creativity,
daring (long panels in the kitchen!), and just
plain FUN! of this window treatment!

One of the best things about being a designer
is working with creative people.
And my friend Susan is a VERY creative lady!
Every time she calls with a new project,
I know I'm going to be inspired!

Susan chose a multi-colored plaid silk,
a turquoise blue crinkle, green tapestry damask
and fun tassel trim.
Plus, notice how she painted and glazed her
hardware PINK!

Absolutely Beautiful!

Here's a similar look with completely
different fabrics.

Simply Stunning!

Please join me this week as we
explore the world of

Window Treatments!

Have a Wonderfully Blessed Day!

  1. THere are so many things about this post to comment on just one. I love the pink hardware, and the table! OH my! Love. And I'm loving on the rusted bench with all the red velvet pillows. Love.

Not to mention the fabulous fabric and trim on the curtains. I'm a 60's girl. I guess that's what they called them then?
