Window Treatment Week! Episode #2

 Last week during PILLOWS WEEK Episode #2

I featured the pillows that were made with

leftover fabric from Missy's beautiful bedroom!

 These were so fun to make!

Interesting fabrics AND interesting design!

When I suggested this style,

Missy immediately loved it!

 The inspiration for this was a page I had torn from

Home Companion Magazine. 

(I hate the fact that it is no longer in publication!)

The article featured a Texas porch

where the homeowner had hung scrim panels

 with 6 ruffles!  Absolutely adorable!

We adapted the idea to suit Missy and her style.

We made her panels with three 6"-7" ruffles plus a

1" header ruffle across the top, four fabrics,

hung with a wooden rod and rings.

Missy had already purchased the bedding

so we used this as our inspiration!

We also made a valance to go

above the tub in her master bath.

Here we used 2 fabrics, a beaded trim,

a black metal rod with clip rings.

I am very pleased with the end result!

And more important, so is Missy!
