For the Sake of Inspiration!

Today's post is of the few remaining photos from my photo secession (that sounds so professional) at my friend Susan's home.

Even though this is not her Valentine's Day decor...it could be!
Just under the counter you see above, are two simple barstools made so much more fun and unexpected with a fresh coat of pink paint!
Now if you're wondering how these pink barstools tie into the rest of the kitchen, take a look over here!
Just outside the kitchen, in a small nook, is a desk filled with all sorts of treasures belonging to a mother of six.
A wall sconce lighting the hallway by the desk.
The other side of the kitchen opens to the family room.

I'm inspired...Are you?

  3. I'm going to have to stop looking at Susan's home, as it makes me want to chuck everything and copy her! With my homes overscaled dimensions, it's difficult to make it look cozy. Hugs, Sonya, have a great weekend!

  9. Amazing! I just love all the colors and trims. You and Susan need to organize a little shopping expedition for those of us who live near by. I could follow you two around and buy everything you buy. :)
