Glass Beaded Bench

Just a quick post about a really cute idea and a very do-able project.
Even though this bench was bought as you see it, this would be a very easy project to duplicate.
A little E-6000 or Liquid Nails and a ton of flat backed glass beads and you could DIY a bench of your own.
Not only a bench, you or your child could bejewel a tray, a stepping stone, a table or nightstand or your very own artwork! Just about any flat surface you can find!
Ignoring the slightly blurry photo, you can see how the design has been created on this bench.
And on a completely unrelated note...I just had to show you the unusual way this beautiful, mini-chandelier has been hung. An old, rusty, outdoor planter complete with peeling paint and real rust is the host for this blingy chandelier. By pairing these two opposites, a truly unique light fixture was created. Pretty cool, huh?

  1. Thanks for the cute idea Sonya!
I think I might do this to an old bakers rack that's out in the garage that I've been thinking of reviving.
