"A small elaborated element of a work of art...or design."
I think this particular definition of the word detail says it all.
Little "elaborated elements" that in the scheme of things may seem inconsequential but for me play a huge part in design.
A tiny ruffled corner...a velvet flange...an over sized lace ruffle...a monogram...piping...contrasting fabrics
When my friend Cindy designs pillows I know I'm in for a treat.
Every time she calls with a new project I'm inspired.
I can't claim the design but I can claim making them!
And the fun of showing them off!
Hope you were inspired!

Beautiful, Sonya! I love the fabrics you used and the detailing. Just imagine those pillows without the detailing here; I think the fabric would still be pretty, but it wouldn't bring as much to a room as it does with it.
ReplyDeleteI love your pillows. Super cute and pretty!!! Would love to have you come link-up at Finished it Friday! Have a fabulous weekend!
